πΊπΈ Freedom Clicker β Changelog
What changed and why Β· β Back to the game
17 July 2026 β Late-game pacing
- The fake ad banner is gone. It could swallow the Trump Cannon's
FIRE button on shorter screens, and honestly nobody was buying Freedom Steaks. The
cannon board now also scales itself to always fit the screen.
- Era 8 is one third shorter. The last four buildings are now spaced
Γ100 apart instead of Γ1,000 β those walls were tuned before Weaponized synergies
existed and had turned World Domination into a 9-decade grind. Era 9 now gates at
5.4e28 and the Galactic Mint finale sits at 5.7e33.
- The final era's progress bar works now β it tracks your climb
toward the Galactic Mint endgame instead of sitting at 100% from the first second.
16 July 2026 β Mini-games: Rally Dance & Trump Cannon
- Rally Dance πΊ β every other tweet boost is now a rhythm game:
rings converge on two fists once per second; smash both at once (two fingers on
mobile, F + J on desktop) exactly on the beat. Every landed beat pays a fixed
7 seconds of production and advances the portrait through an AI-drawn dance β
one pose per hit, jump on every 4th, disco finale. Miss the beat and he just...
crouches at you. The plain clicking frenzy got stronger too: Γ9, up from Γ7.
- Trump Cannon 𧨠β a cannon cart occasionally rolls across the
screen. Tap it for an isometric artillery challenge: aim by dragging, set the power,
and land a shell on the target within 3 shots for 2 minutes of production.
- Buffs now stack instead of replacing each other β a witch hunt no longer silently
cancels an active frenzy, it (fittingly) halves it.
- Four new secret achievements.
14 July 2026 β Upgrades that matter & The Base Awakens
Balance (from your feedback)
- Building upgrades are no longer invisible. The 100-owned
"Weaponized" tier now also makes every copy of that building boost all
production by +0.1% β a per-building global engine that keeps scaling as you buy
more. (A multiplier on a two-era-old building's own output rounded to zero, no
matter how big.) The 10/50 tiers were bumped from Γ2/Γ3 to Γ3/Γ5.
- Achievements now pay. Every award earned adds +1% to all
production, permanently.
- Upgrade rows show their impact before you buy β "+2.3M/s (+18%)"
instead of a leap of faith.
- Era pacing rebalanced for the stronger economy. The new multipliers
made eras fly by, so building costs and era gates now grow slightly faster down the
list (~Γ1.6 at era 2 up to ~Γ30 at era 9). Mid-run saves are safe: an era you've
already built in stays unlocked.
Secret content π€«
- Something happens when 100 Red Cap Volunteers get organized. Grifters, witch hunts,
unhinged tweets, five new secret achievements, and one very expensive way to make it
all stop for half an hour. You have been warned.
13 July 2026
- The site grew a library. New written strategy
guide (era thresholds, upgrade breakpoints, prestige math), an
about page, and this changelog. The game page now scrolls:
game first, reading below.
12 July 2026 β Launch week, part two
Era 9: "To The Moon" π
- New space-age endgame era at 1.8e30 lifetime MAGA$ with three buildings: Moon Casino
Resort, Mars Trade Colony, and the Galactic Mint β the game's ~12-hour finale at
1.5e37.
- Endgame pacing: the last four buildings are spaced Γ1,000 apart instead of Γ10, so
late-game multiplier stacks can't blow through them in seconds. They're meant to be
walls you earn.
- New era quest (60 Moon Rocks), two space events (Moon Mall, the Mars IPO), and the
Helium-3 Monopoly global upgrade (Γ3).
Balance
- Offline and background production now runs at 1/1000 speed. Full-speed
background earning made "close the tab" the optimal strategy. Showing up matters now.
- Click upgrades no longer multiply the production-percentage slice of a
click. A Γ7 tweet frenzy was worth ~30Γ idle income by era 4 and teleported
players through the mid-game; it's now a strong ~3β4Γ boost.
- Prestige switched from a cube-root curve to a logarithmic one: 3 Mandate points per
Γ10 lifetime earnings past 1 billion. The old curve eventually minted a point on every
single click; the new one paces evenly at every scale.
- Building upgrades repriced against the real cost of owning 10/50/100 copies β they
used to be affordable the instant they unlocked.
- Era side quests are now completable within their own era, complete
chronologically, and one-time event bonuses are no longer multiplied by an active
frenzy.
Features & content
- 1,265 era-tagged satirical tweets, 323 fake-news ticker headlines, 96 parody house
ads, and 20 one-time political events β all generated at build time, curated by hand,
and shipped as static files.
- 41 hand-curated caricature images wired in: 8 era backdrops, quest icons, achievement
icons, golden skins, and two seasonal skins that switch on by date.
- Voice stingers on milestone moments, full-screen celebrations on era and quest
completion, an in-app install button, and a log-scale era progress bar.
Fixes
- Save robustness: corrupted saves are backed up and restored from an IndexedDB mirror
instead of being lost.
- Mobile: killed tap highlight and long-press image-save on game art, fixed the bottom
panel clipping below the viewport, stopped ghost clicks buying buildings underneath
pickups, and silenced audio when the app is backgrounded.
11β12 July 2026 β Launch week, part one
- Launched at freedom-clicker.com as an installable PWA.
- Core game: 8 chronological eras, 24 buildings, three-tier building upgrades
(Γ2/Γ3/Γ7 at 10/50/100 owned), click and global upgrades, and the Mandate prestige
system.
- The fun layer: Golden Trumps, the falling-star flag collection (50 states), per-era
side quests, secret achievements, one-time political events, the live tweet feed, and
bulk buy (Γ1/Γ10/Γ100/MAX).
- Renamed to Freedom Clicker; added music, sound effects, favicon, and a
stats tab.
