Trade Wars
Trade Wars is a turning point. Somewhere in this era you will pass one billion lifetime MAGA$ — the threshold that makes your first Mandate (prestige) point available. You should not reset the moment you hit it, but this is where you start thinking about the reset loop that powers the entire back half of the game.
New buildings this era
| Building | Base cost (MAGA$) | Base MAGA$/sec |
|---|---|---|
| Tariff Decree | 52.8 billion | 38.7 million |
| Trade War Room | 607 billion | 349 million |
| Reshored Factory | 6.98 trillion | 3.14 billion |
Global upgrade unlocked
Deregulation Spree (5 billion MAGA$) — ×2 to all production. This is your first true doubling of the whole economy. Nothing else you can buy at this price comes close; buy it first, every time.
Strategy
By now the pattern is muscle memory: newest building in bulk, older buildings topped to their breakpoints, globals bought on sight. The specific play in Trade Wars is to start deliberately pushing two or three of your favourite buildings toward 100 owned. At 100 the "Weaponized" upgrade unlocks, and it does something no other upgrade does: every copy of that building boosts all of your production, permanently. This synergy is the engine that carries the late game, and it is worth starting early.
On your first prestige: the game grants 3 Mandate points per 10× of lifetime earnings past one billion, and each point is a permanent +2% to production and clicks across every future run. Don't reset with one point pending — the run-back costs more than +2% earns. Wait until you have 2–3 points pending and the next building looks like a long grind, then reset and blast back through these early eras in a fraction of the time. See the full Mandate prestige guide for the math.
Events unlocking here: Official Hair Day (a big lump sum) and the Pet Turkey Council (×6 click frenzy).
